New Bike

Not really sure what has happened over the last week since I've been away in France. Although, Andy did say he'd been out for 70 last Sunday, then 20 miles a day for the rest of the week. Sounds promising since this ride isn't far away now!

But onto important matters, namely my new bike..... :D

I've recently bought a new Planet X Stealth Pro Carbon, not that I intend to use it for this ride, but it's a cool as a cool thing.

Isn't she beautiful?

Holy Crap...

... Sonny you is boring.

Me and Simon just did 1000miles in 12mins.

Avg. 5000mph

pretty good eh?!

I was please with it because we were mostly underwater when we did it.

Seriously though, Some large rides on the way this weekend, and sponsors all E-mailed. If they have a heart they'll give us free stuff.

If they don't then A good smiting is in order

The last few days

Well the wekend was a washout, bike wise anyhow. Me and Craig did a stupid big cardio session at the gym on Saturday, then I did my standard Draycote Water run on Sunday.

Yesterday myself and craig rode to a very windy Draycote and went round twice, not a huge distance, but good to get some miles in in the wind.

Deciding that riding in the wind is all good, I went round Draycote 5 times this evening, 23.76 miles, Avg 18 mph Max 29.2 mph. I was quite pleased as it was so windy.

Planning on some ore of the good stuff tomorrow.

Friday Night Warmup

Me and Craig are planning a 100 miler tomorrow, so I went out with Andy and Simon to get all warmed up;

21.85 Miles, 17.1 mph avg, 30.4 mph Max. Was a nice little ride.

Will update regarding the 100, if I survive ;-)

Myself and Simon did 23 miles last night, no wind, but quite a few nice hiils.

Avg; 17.3 mph, 74rpm
Max 33.4 mph, 100 rpm

Not riding tonight as I have band practice with Whisper, which is a workout in itself!

Monday Night Fun.

As I sit to write this Sonny has just let rip and violated my office to the point that I was to vomit.

In an effort to lose weight (as Sonny kindly pointed out yesterday), we decided to pop out for a quick 20 mile ride to spin out the legs after some big weekend rides. We ended up going through Braunton, Barby, kilsby, Hillmorton, Bilton and Dunchurch to make a 21.5 mile ride. On a windy day I was pretty pleased that Sonny and I managed to average 18.1 mph and it took around 1:10 (not entirely sure).

Next it's Wednesday TT to contend with....
